Product Description

R7 Simulation Tester is designed for LRRS (Lifeboat Release & Retrieval system) to carry out on-load and off-load test. The equipment lifts up lifeboat by hydraulic power and takes over lifeboat weight. The operating personnel can pull the release handle to turn the release hook to open condition to check the function of the gear.

When we plan to do on-load test (annual inspection or 5-year inspection), the R7 Lifers lifts up lifeboat by hydraulic power to take over lifeboat weight. Then turn the check-valve to make part of hydraulic back to cylinder, the lifeboat weight is back to release hook. After the release handle is pulled, the lifeboat is release down with strong dynamic loading, at the moment the cylinder would absorb the shock loading by half compressed air and half non-compressed hydraulic to keep the lifeboat safe.

 

 

 

Simulation testers can be used in any circumstances, whether the lifeboat is in port side, the weather is foul or the port restrict for release. The alternative test is encouraged by IMO. Simulation tester is the best solution for service stations and ship owners to make the complicated inspection to be simple.
